Learn Something in a Minute

There are alot of Youtube channels out there, but there are a select few that aren't just about cute babies laughing, cat being forced to do things, or random people doing stunts to remove themselves from the gene pool. There are a few that actually provide decent knowledge and teach you something new or perhaps something that you already knew, but didnt know why. Below is an example of the latter:

What the Title says. We believe that we know everything from time to time, but then there are other moments when we completely clueless and yet we still try to act that we have all the answers. I turn your attention to the video below, which reflects this thought process:

TV, You're So Predictable

So two protagonists just had the worst day ever and sit down on the sidewalk and one tries to comfort by saying "At least it can't get any worse..." What happens next?

I'm sure 95% of you are saying, "It rains, of course." If you got that then you are familiar with a trope. This is called Cue The Rain. A trope is obviously something that has occurred so many times that you can expect it to happen given enough information. Do you still read newspapers? Time to realize that newspapers take a day to tell you what happened yesterday, and they waste tons of trees and otherwise perfectly good toilet paper.

Time to get with the times and become that impatient internet user that wants all the world's information at your finger tips in a matter of seconds. Hey you. Yea, you looking at these words. Welcome to the internet!

Yeah, I'm sure you are aware of that. Remember your first time being on the internet and not knowing where to go? Maybe you knew Google was the go to place since it popped up on your screen or perhaps you came in later and it was Bing. Regardless of the way, you got on here and searched for something for some reason.

What do you use the internet for? Talk to people, most likely?

What if I told you that you can use the internet to learn? Well, I will be doing that this summer and maybe past that depending on how well this turns out, but first of all let's get you acquainted to the Internet. Your first stop? Reddit.

Have you heard of it? There should be a split. Some are saying well this is a waste of my time, while others might be actually curious. Reddit is exactly what it says it is, "The Homepage of the Internet". This will give you access to practically any part of the internet and it grows along with the internet. Reddit is like having a giant news feed that is created by other users. What do you do for fun? What are your interests? There's a subreddit for that most likely. Just be careful of trolls and you will be fine. Go to reddit today!
